PREprep: online course for the PSAT

  • This is the USCollegePrep online course information page for high school juniors and sophomores preparing for the October 2013 PSAT/NMSQT. The PSAT/NMSQT provides students with an excellent practice opportunity for the SAT.

    Start Date

    A new course begins weekly (every Monday). Students select when to begin the course.

    Test dates for the PSAT in 2013 are: Wednesday, October 16 and Saturday, October 19.

    Reading critically for specific content under timed conditions.
    How to solve PSAT/NMSQT writing skills problems.
    Understanding math fundamentals.
    Applying rules and strategies to challenging PSAT/NMSQT algebraic and grid-in questions.
    When to successfully employ your calculator to solve PSAT/NMSQT math problems.

    Course overview

    This course provides the student with the confidence and skill set to maximize individual performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. Critical reading, verbal reasoning, writing skills and math problem-solving strategies are addressed within a positive student-focused learning environment.
